About Old Green
Old Green is a circular design studio in Dorset. We work with reclaimed glass, natural materials and scent, drawing daily from the plants, land and shifting seasons around us.
Learning from nature
Nature is our reference point โ not only in what we use, but in how we choose to operate. In the natural world, nothing is wasted; materials move in cycles. What is discarded in one season becomes nourishment in another. Balance is maintained because everything returns. We believe that way of thinking offers an alternative to the linear systems weโve created โ and we choose to design differently.
The Studio
Our rural Dorset studio reflects that approach. It is more than a place of production; it is a space rooted in place, where materials are re-imagined and work happens at a human pace. Every object passes through many hands. Every workshop and gathering offers a chance to reconnect โ to the season, to creativity, to nature and to each other.
Building for what comes next
For us, that means looking beyond short-term gain. We make decisions with the future in mind โ for the land we inhabit and the community around us. We want to build something that will still make sense years from now.
Why we're here
We are not here to chase scale at any cost. We are here to build something steady, collaborative and enduring โ a small environment that reflects how we believe we all can and should work.
This is Old Green โ circular by design, seasonal by nature, and grounded in the belief that what we build should strengthen more than just ourselves.
