Whether you’re planning a birthday, looking for something different for a hen party, bringing your team together or simply trying to get your favourite people in the same place, our private experiences are a chance to step away from the usual plans and do something a little different together.
Held exclusively for your group at our studio on the edge of the Dorset woods, you can choose an experience and a date that suits you, then leave the rest to us.
Private experiences are £300 for up to 6 people, including everything you need for your chosen experience and exclusive use of the studio. Additional guests are £45 per person, up to a maximum group of 20, and you don’t need to confirm your final numbers until 5 days before your booking.
Something to Gather Around
You don’t need to think of yourself as creative to enjoy our private experiences. The making simply gives everyone something to gather around — a shared experience that gets you using your hands, exploring your senses and talking as you go.
Rather than focusing on perfecting a craft, our sessions leave plenty of space for the people you’re with. You’ll explore natural materials, learn something new and make something to take home, but the real point is the time spent doing it together.
Choose your experience
Our experiences begin with the natural world. We use plants and natural materials to explore the season we’re in and encourage you to notice a little more of what’s around you. Each experience is centred around one of the senses. You don’t need any previous knowledge or creative skill — we’ll guide you through the process, leaving plenty of space to explore, talk and enjoy being together.
SCENT
Personal Scent Creation
Scent has an extraordinary ability to transport us. A single smell can bring back a place, a person or a memory we haven’t thought about for years.
Spend time exploring pure essential oils, noticing which scents you’re naturally drawn to and creating your own blend.
You’ll then use scent to make something of your own to take home. Choose between pouring a natural candle or making a botanical reed diffuser.
TASTE
Botanical Blending
Taste connects us to plants, places and seasons in a wonderfully immediate way. Familiar flavours can be comforting and nostalgic, while something new can completely change the way we think about an ingredient.
Spend time smelling, tasting and exploring botanicals together, comparing what you’re drawn to and discovering the different ways plants can be combined, and create your own botanical tea blend to take away with you, in a reusable 25g tin.
MAKE
Work with your hands
Working with our hands gives us a different way of experiencing the natural world. Texture, weight and material become things to notice, while having something physical to work on gives conversation space to happen naturally alongside it.
Create handmade sheets of paper using waste materials, experimenting with texture, colour and natural botanical additions. You can then use your paper sheets to create stationary items or decor to take away with you.
A Space to Make Your Own
Our studio sits on the edge of the woods in the Dorset countryside, with plenty of space indoors and out to gather, as well as free on site parking and wifi (although we love you to switch off when you’re here if possible).
