Whether you’re planning a birthday, hen party, Christmas get-together or team day, or simply trying to get your favourite people in the same place, our private experiences are a chance to step away from the usual plans and do something a little different together.
Held exclusively for your group at our studio on the edge of the Dorset woods, you can choose an experience and a date that suits you, then leave the rest to us.
Private Experiences from £300
Gather your people and have the Old Green studio to yourselves. Your £300 booking includes exclusive use of the studio and a guided two-hour experience for up to six guests.
Once you’ve chosen your date, we’ll get in touch to plan the details with you, including timings, guest numbers and any extras you’d like to add.
Larger groups are very welcome, we can host up to 20 in our spacious studio.
Something to Gather Around
You don’t need to think of yourself as creative to enjoy our private experiences. The making simply gives everyone something to gather around — a shared experience that gets you using your hands, exploring your senses and talking as you go.
Rather than focusing on perfecting a craft, our sessions leave plenty of space for the people you’re with. You’ll explore natural materials, learn something new and make something to take home, but the real point is the time spent doing it together.
Choose your experience
Our experiences begin with the natural world. We use plants and natural materials to explore the season we’re in and encourage you to notice a little more of what’s around you. Each experience is centred around one of the senses. You don’t need any previous knowledge or creative skill — we’ll guide you through the process, leaving plenty of space to explore, talk and enjoy being together.
Candle Making
Explore pure essential oils and create your own personal scent blend before pouring a natural 60 hour candle to take home.
Diffuser Blending
Create your own essential-oil blend, make a natural 100ml reed diffuser and choose a vase and dried botanicals to finish it.
Wreath Making
Work with seasonal foliage and natural materials to create your own wreath, guided from start to finish and made to take home.
Tea Blending
Taste, smell and explore herbs, flowers and botanicals before creating your own 25g tin of loose-leaf tea blend to take home.
Paper Making
Make sheets of handmade paper from waste materials, experimenting with natural colour, texture and botanicals.
Choose your Date
Choose an available date below to secure the studio for your group. Your £300 booking covers a private experience for up to six guests.
Once booked, we’ll be in touch to plan the details with you — which experience you’d like to do, your preferred timing and how many people you’re expecting. You don’t need to have everything decided before you book.
Larger groups are very welcome, up to 20 guests, and you can confirm your final numbers with us up to 5 days before your booking. We’ll arrange payment for any additional guests once numbers are confirmed.
A Space to Make Your Own
Our studio sits on the edge of the woods in the Dorset countryside, with plenty of space indoors and out to gather, as well as free on site parking and wifi (although we love you to switch off when you’re here if possible).
