Olive Green Glass Storage Jars
Our olive green glass storage jars are handmade in Dorset from reclaimed bottles, turning waste glass into practical storage for the kitchen and pantry.
At approximately 18cm tall, their taller shape makes good use of vertical shelf space and gives you plenty of room for everyday dry ingredients. Use them for pasta, rice, pulses, grains, oats, granola, nuts, seeds and other pantry staples.
The original olive green bottle glass also makes a useful alternative to conventional clear pantry jars, particularly if you prefer to keep the contents of your shelves looking a little less visually busy.
Made from Reclaimed Bottle Glass
Each storage jar starts life as a discarded glass bottle. We cut away the top before carefully grinding and polishing the rim by hand in our Dorset workshop.
We don’t melt the bottles down or recolour the glass. The olive green colour is the original bottle glass, so slight differences in shade, thickness and character are a natural part of using reclaimed materials.
It’s a simple way of keeping an existing material in use while creating something practical enough to become part of the everyday kitchen.
Airtight Storage for Dry Foods
Each jar comes with a black metal airtight lid to help keep dry ingredients sealed and protected between uses.
The 18cm height makes these jars particularly useful for storing larger quantities without taking up unnecessary space across your shelves. Line several together in a pantry or kitchen cupboard to create a simple, reusable storage system.
They’re also ideal for shopping at refill and zero-waste stores: fill your jars with the ingredients you use regularly and top them up rather than buying another container each time.
