Tea Blending Workshop
A slower, more sensory experience centred around taste, scent and connection to the natural world.
This tea blending workshop takes place at our Dorset studio on the edge of woodland, offering a chance to step away from daily demands and reconnect — both with yourself and with the seasonal ingredients that grow around you.
Over the course of three hours, you’ll be introduced to a carefully selected range of herbs and seeds commonly found in the UK. Through guided tasting, scent exploration and hands-on blending, you’ll begin to understand how different plants are traditionally associated with calm, clarity, balance and overall wellbeing.
The session includes a gentle walk through the surrounding woodland, where you’ll have the opportunity to observe what’s growing seasonally and build a closer connection to the ingredients you’ll be working with.
You’ll then create your own bespoke herbal infusion, learning how to balance flavours and combine ingredients in a way that feels right for you. Your blend will be brewed and tasted, with guidance to refine it before taking it home.
Each workshop is small and unhurried, designed to be both practical and restorative.
Each participant will experience:
• A seasonal herbal infusion on arrival
• A short woodland walk with seasonal foraging awareness
• Guided sensory exploration of herbs and seeds
• A hands-on blending session to create your own tea
• Brewing and tasting your blend, with guidance to refine it
You will take home:
• A 25g tin of your own loose leaf herbal tea blend
• A simple blending and brewing guide
• Practical knowledge to recreate and adapt blends at home
No prior experience is needed. This is a relaxed, small-group session designed to slow the pace, engage the senses and offer a simple practice you can return to beyond the workshop.
