Terracotta Taper Candles

Our terracotta taper candles are made from natural olive wax, with a warm, earthy terracotta colour covering the lower two-thirds of each candle and the natural ivory wax left visible at the top.

Each candle measures approximately 26cm tall and 2cm in diameter, designed to fit standard dinner candle holders. The simple contrast of terracotta and ivory brings colour to the table without feeling overly decorative, pairing easily with natural linen, reclaimed glass, ceramics and wood.

Natural Olive Wax

Made from plant-based olive wax, these taper candles are unscented and paraffin free as well as vegan and GMO free.

Olive wax gives the candles a smooth, natural finish and a clean, even burn. They’re also designed to be drip-free when burned correctly, making them particularly practical for dining tables and candle holders where you don’t want wax running onto the surface below.

Approximately 12 Hours of Candlelight

Each taper candle has an approximate burn time of 12 hours, allowing it to be relit and enjoyed across several evenings.

Use a pair on a dinner table, arrange several down the length of a larger table, or mix them amongst flowers, foliage and glassware. The terracotta colour works particularly well for autumn tables but is simple enough to use throughout the year.

Hand-Poured in Small Batches

Our taper candles are hand-poured in small batches using natural olive wax rather than paraffin wax. They are left unscented so they can be burned around food without adding fragrance to the table.

The natural ivory top is left visible above the terracotta lower section, creating the distinctive two-colour finish.
