WORKSHOP & EVENTS REP
Our innovative sustainable homeware company is looking for an enthusiastic and social individual for the role of a Workshop & Events rep. This role involves front-facing customer service primarily on weekends. Your duties will involve running our creative workshops from our studio near Wimborne, overseeing our events, taking our products to local markets, as well as some assisting in product manufacturing. No two days will be the same!
Running creative workshops: As the primary face of our workshop sessions, you will be responsible for setting up, executing, and wrapping up these sessions. This aspect involves clear communication, presentation skills and the ability to instruct and support participants of varying skill levels. You will facilitate a fun, creative, and relaxed environment.
Running events: You will be at the helm of executing our events, both internally from our studio and externally at local markets (within 1 hour radius), ensuring that they run smoothly. This role requires excellent communication and sales skills, as well as the ability to set up and effectively display a market stand independently.
Assisting in Product Manufacturing: You will be part of our sustainable product manufacturing process. This could involve different aspects of creating our products, ensuring a high standard of production and packaging.
Qualifications and Skills Needed:
- Experience in a customer-facing role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A natural problem solver, capable of reacting quickly and effectively.
- Able to work during the weekend.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
- Hands-on experience in craft, DIY, or similar creative activities is a plus but not necessary as full training will be given.

This role would be likely 1 day per week (either a Saturday or a Sunday) equating to 20-30 hours per month. However we are a small but fast growing business so if more work was desired there is every chance the role could grow with you.
Pay starts at £11 per hour with potential to earn more through commission.
