Our Dorset Studio
Our rural Dorset studio is designed to feel immersive, seasonal and sensory from the moment you arrive. In summer, doors open onto the trees and surrounding countryside. In winter, the studio shifts to softer lighting and flickering candlelight.
Music, scent and our own seasonal herbal tea blends all form part of the experience — creating a calm, welcoming atmosphere designed to help people settle in and make with their hands.

Candle Making
Make two candles using natural wax and oils – one inspired by the season, the other blended to your own scent preferences. Learn how to work with essential oils to create a balanced fragrance in a relaxed, practical session. You’ll leave with the skills to make them again at home.
2.5 hours – £65
Diffuser Making
Explore a large range of natural essential oils, learn how to build a balanced natural fragrance and create your own personal scent. You’ll then assemble your own diffuser display vase with reeds and dried stems. This hands-on workshop is a gentle introduction to natural home fragrance creation.

Paper Making
Learn how to make paper by hand using recycled materials from our studio. Experiment with textures, colours and natural inclusions to create unique sheets, while learning techniques to replicate at home. Leave with a stack of beautifully crafted pages and a handmade paper item.

Tea Blending
you’ll explore a range of herbs and botanicals through scent, taste and hands-on blending. You’ll step into the surrounding woodland, learn how ingredients support calm and clarity, and create a bespoke blend to take home — a 25g tin of your own tea, plus a simple guide to continue at home.

Autumn Wreaths
Create your own autumn wreath with floral artist Emma, using a metal hoop and a mix of dried foliage foraged and locally grown. Weather permitting, start with a short foraging walk around our rural studio. Leave with a unique half-moon wreath and the skills to make more.

Botanical Print & Stitch
Join guest textile artist Mel for a relaxed day of botanical print and stitch. Explore fabric printing using her unique stencils, hand stitching and creative reuse as you create a unique piece of textile art, with techniques and inspiration to continue your creativity at home.

Macrame Knotting
Learn the basics of macrame and craft your own macramé plant hanger using soft recycled cotton cord and simple knotting techniques. Designed to fit a plant pot or one of our candle domes, this relaxed workshop is perfect for anyone drawn to slow, tactile making.

Scent Blending
A half-day immersive experience exploring the artistry behind fragrance creation. Through woodland immersion, guided scent composition, and hands-on blending, you’ll create your own signature fragrances before transforming it into a hand-poured candle and reed diffuser to take home.

Children's nature sessions
Looking for a way to balance work commitments and your children’s summer holiday adventures?
Join Claire from The Nat every Friday throughout the summer holidays, from 31 July to 28 August.
While children enjoy guided nature-based activities outdoors, parents can make the most of dedicated coworking time in a calm and welcoming space with Wi-Fi, tables, and a productive environment.
